Can you unlock an epic 4g and put it on the verizon network?

they both use the cdma network and I like the verizons coverage, but they dont have any 4g phones that use a qwerty keyboared, so im wondering if it is possible to unlock the epicg (thats one the sprints network) and make it work fully on verizons network?
