Successful breastfeeding tips? ?

I am currently pregnant with baby #2, due October 14th, and I really want to breastfeed. I tried to breastfeed with my first child, but he was in nicu and wouldn't latch on properly, so I gave up! This time I am more motivated and want to breastfeed my baby, so do you have any tips on how to be successful the second time around? Please no nasty comments! Only real moms who knows about breastfeeding! Thanks!
