Does celexa work for you?

Hello and first thank you for taking the time to read my post...I am 23 yrs old a mother of 2..a 5 and 2 year old..And I am also happily married. I suffer from anxiety REALLY bad! It all started when my 2 year old was born he was in NICU for 11 days due to birth complications. It all started then..shortness of breath ALL the time,constantly having bad thougts..always thinking something was wrong with me heart palpitations and other horrible symptioms. I have been to doctors and been told many times Im in good health I just have anxiety which I can strongly agree with! I know I have a problem. Recently my Mother in law passed unexpectdly she lived with my family and I so this was very hard and still is to cope with. I visited my doctor again just to know im ok(part of my anxiety i guess) She prescribed me Celexa 20 mg..Both my mom and brother take this and swear by it! Im scared to take it bc i have heard good and bad things about the medicine.. I really want this to work...I try to handle theanxiety alone but sometimes its overwhelming..Wouldanyone who has been on this please give me your reviews on it..Also what can I dobesides meds to relieve my anxiety?Thank you so much for you input and advice
