I'm a Military wife, my husband and I recently had a baby who died before we enrolled him in DEERS.?

I'm a Military wife, my husband and I recently had a baby who had to stay in the NICU, before we got to enroll our new baby into DEERS, he died. We didn't even have insurance for him, so his funeral came out of our pockets. Is there any way the Military can reimburse us? (We didn't get to enroll him in DEERS, because i had the baby in North Carolina while my husband was away, so he didn't get to sign the Birth Certificate right away, which is a requirement for DEERS, and we had just got stationed at Ft. Carson, but our son had to stay in the hospital in N.C., by the time they mailed the Birth Certificate to Colorado, we had already been back to North Carolina to have our sons funeral.)
